Jennifer Elizabeth, a third-generation member of the entertainment industry, was born into a family with a rich history in show business. Her maternal grandmother, Mary Ellen, was a MGM Goldwyn Girl, model, and actress who worked as Lucille Ball's stand-in on The Lucy Show. Mary Ellen was married to a Tommy Dorsey musician and had two children, including Jennifer's mother, Madonna Joy.
Madonna, who was a talented and resourceful individual, put herself through college by working as a model, stand-in, and extra. She also worked as one of Aaron Spelling's Bikini Bunnies, appearing as a background actress on his numerous TV shows. It was during this time that Madonna met her future husband, stuntman Gary Davis, while working on a TV show. They were married in Woodland Hills and had Jennifer in December.
Jennifer began her acting career at a young age, earning her SAG card at just nine months old for her role as Baby Jennifer in the movie Knightriders. She was credited beneath Stephen King's name, who made a cameo appearance in the film. After her parents divorced, Jennifer's mother moved to Carmel with her and her sisters to provide a more stable and normal upbringing.
Growing up in Carmel, Jennifer was involved in local theater and drama, and even won first place in a costume contest at the Monterey Fisherman's Wharf for her mermaid costume, which was designed by her father. She also wrote for the school newspaper and won a Youth Writing Award for one of her articles. In addition, Jennifer wrote and illustrated a children's book that won third place and was later adapted into a small-budget animation short.
After graduating from Carmel High School, Jennifer moved back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. She attended Pierce College and worked as a background actress and stand-in to learn more about the industry. She landed her first featured role on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and went on to book recurring stunt roles on The Division and The O.C.
Jennifer also pursued her passion for being a professional mermaid, purchasing custom-made tails and performing at private parties for friends and associates in the entertainment industry. She even booked a commercial for Australian water as a mermaid and made appearances at various events.
Jennifer's big break came when she was hired as a stunt woman for the Nickelodeon show Knight Squad, a role that she landed due to her unique ability to wear a mermaid tail. She is currently studying with a private acting coach and is developing a mermaid-themed show. In her free time, Jennifer works in production, writes, and trains actresses, models, and her daughter's friends to be mermaids.
