Jennifer Liao, a talented director, has recently made her mark by directing two episodes of the captivating contemporary sci-fi horror series FROM, produced by Epix, MGM, Midnight Radio, and AGBO. Her impressive directorial credits also include the thrilling "Imposter" for The CW's anthology series Two Sentence Horror Stories, as well as Lifetime's groundbreaking first Asian-American holiday movie, A Sugar & Spice Holiday, which earned her a DGC Award nomination.
Jennifer's feature directorial debut, the supernatural dark comedy End of Days, Inc., showcased her unique storytelling abilities, and she also directed the gripping thriller Grandma Dearest, also known as Deranged Granny, starring Wendie Malick and Amanda Righetti, which premiered on Lifetime.
Prior to her feature work, Jennifer had a successful stint as a director and writer for the Canadian TV crime drama Blood and Water, which was nominated for Best Drama at the Canadian Screen Awards in 2019. She has also produced the feature film Sex After Kids, written for the innovative social media storytelling project Crushing It! A Social Media Love Story, and is an alumnus of the prestigious TIFF Writers' Studio.
