Jenny Oaks Baker is a renowned American violinist, Grammy-nominated artist, and beloved musician. Born with a passion for music, Jenny began playing the violin at the tender age of four. She made her solo orchestral debut at just eight years old, showcasing her exceptional talent.
Jenny's academic pursuits led her to earn a Master of Music degree from the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City and a bachelor's degree in violin performance from the esteemed Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.
Throughout her illustrious career, Jenny has performed as a soloist at iconic venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Strathmore Hall, and the Library of Congress. She has also collaborated with notable artists, including Gladys Knight, Kurt Bestor, Marvin Hamlisch, and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
As a first violinist with the National Symphony Orchestra for seven years, Jenny honed her skills before resigning in 2007 to prioritize her young family. Since then, she has released twelve albums, selling over a quarter of a million copies and consistently charting on Billboard, including the #1 spot on the Top Classical Albums chart.
Jenny's album Wish Upon a Star earned a nomination for the 54th Grammy Awards for Best Pop Instrumental Album, while her most recent album, Classic: The Rock Album, has received critical acclaim and topped the Billboard charts.

Jenny Oaks Baker will make her acting debut as the violinist character, Mandy, in "Stuck" - film to be released in Fall 2014. Jenny, her husband Matthew, and their four children reside outside of Washington D.C.
