Jeremías Herskovits' life story is a fascinating tale of international adventure and cultural exploration. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he made his first major move at just one and a half years old, when he and his family, including his sister and parents, relocated to Melbourne, Australia.
During his six-year stint in Melbourne, Jeremías attended Bialik College, a Jewish K-12 school in Hawthorn, where he received a well-rounded education. It was also during this time that his family welcomed a new addition - his youngest brother was born.
However, after six years of life in Melbourne, Jeremías' family made another significant move, this time to Santiago, Chile. It was here that he began attending Instituto Hebreo, where he is currently learning Hebrew and also speaks Spanish and English.
As a young actor, Jeremías has already made a name for himself in the film industry. His first movie, "La Danza de la Realidad", was a major accomplishment. He has since reprised his role as Alejandrito in Alejandro Jodorowsky's latest film, "Poesía sin fin" ("Endless poetry"),which is set to be released at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2016.
Interestingly, "Endless Poetry" is a sequel to the film "The Dance of Reality", in which Jeremías also acted as young Alejandro. The movie takes place in Santiago, Chile, and explores themes of poetry and the creative process.
