Jeremy Long is a multifaceted individual, living and working in Los Angeles, California. Born in Pennsylvania, Jeremy graduated from Palmyra Area High School in 2010 and furthered his education at Penn State University, where he studied film.
During his time in college, Jeremy was actively pursuing creative opportunities, writing several short and feature films, as well as acting in short films and major motion pictures. He also continued his stand-up comedy career, performing on the east coast.
In 2010, Jeremy co-founded the independent production company Winston Simmons Productions, which is still active today. In 2014, he released his first feature film, Tenacity and Gratitude: The Frank Cotolo Story, a documentary about his friend and comedic mentor Frank Cotolo.
After graduating from college, Jeremy moved to Los Angeles to further his career in film. He has acted in theater, stage plays, and film and television, performing comedy on both coasts. He has also been a member of the highly sought-after improv troupe High Fructose Improv.
In addition to his acting and comedy work, Jeremy has been featured in episodes of popular television shows such as Do No Harm, NCIS, Mom, and The Goldbergs, as well as films like Jack Reacher and Me and Earl and the Dying Girl. However, he has publicly announced that he is focusing less on acting and more on writing.
Jeremy started working on the television series The Carbonaro Effect on TruTv before shifting to a virtual reality studio, Here Be Dragons. In 2017, he formed a new production company, Long Dick Films, with friend and creative partner Meg Dick.
Under Long Dick Films, Jeremy wrote, produced, and directed several short films, including Tied to the Past and Retired Cupid, which won the Award of Excellence at the Global Shorts Film Festival. He also wrote the feature film Clickbait, which is scheduled to hit festivals in fall 2018.
Jeremy continues to perform stand-up, sketch, and improv comedy, and recorded his first stand-up comedy special in April 2018. He is currently in pre-production of a television series, The Return of Turk Berain, and is working on several short films slated for release in 2018.
