Growing up on a modest farm in the charming town of Friendship, South Carolina, he was raised by his devoted mother and grandparents, surrounded by the warmth and love of a close-knit family. He was one of three siblings, with two older brothers who no doubt played a significant role in shaping his childhood and early years.
As a young boy, he discovered his passion for the performing arts when he was selected to play the iconic role of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in a kindergarten play. This early introduction to the world of acting would ultimately set the stage for a lifelong journey in the entertainment industry.
As he grew older, he excelled in his high school years, showcasing his athletic prowess in multiple sports, including basketball, football, and baseball. His natural talent and dedication earned him recognition as a standout athlete, leaving a lasting impression on his peers and coaches alike.
Upon graduating from Coastal Carolina University, he was awarded a degree in early childhood education, complemented by a minor in dramatic arts. During his time at university, he also had the privilege of lettering in basketball for four consecutive years, a testament to his hard work and commitment to the sport.
However, his professional basketball career in Ireland was cut short due to a knee injury, which ultimately led him to pursue his first love – entertaining. With his sights set on a new path, he was able to channel his passion for the performing arts into a successful and fulfilling career in the entertainment industry.
