The duo's initial success was meteoric, as they swiftly achieved an almost immediate hit with Butler's own composition, "For Your Precious Love". This remarkable song not only became the group's first gold record but also cemented Butler's reputation as a talented songwriter. Nicknamed "The Iceman" by legendary Philadelphia DJ Georgi Woods, Butler's smooth, cool delivery and effortless style have been consistently praised throughout his illustrious career.
