Jessika Van's illustrious career in music began with her rigorous classical training as a pianist and singer. As a child, she achieved impressive feats, winning dance competition titles and prestigious music awards, which ultimately led to her captivating performances for esteemed organizations such as the local Philharmonic Society and even the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson.
As an actress, Jessika Van made a significant impact in the Hollywood scene, initially starring in the critically-acclaimed MTV comedy, Awkward, as the memorable Becca, Queen of the Asian Mafia. This breakthrough role was soon followed by her portrayal of the lead action heroine Hannah in Electronic Art's groundbreaking first-person shooter, Battlefield 4, in 2013. To prepare for this role, Jessika Van underwent extensive training in weapons and martial arts, a skillset she has continued to utilize in many subsequent action roles.
In 2015, Jessika Van made her Sundance Film Festival debut with the coming-of-age film Seoul Searching, where she showcased her impressive vocal range and choreographic skills with an a cappella rendition of Madonna's timeless classic, "Like A Virgin".
