Jim, a native of Manhattan's west-side neighborhood, Hell's Kitchen, began his career at Herbert Berghoff Studios in Greenwich Village, performing on Equity stages with a focus on Modern American Classics, including works by Steinbeck, Saroyan, Miller, Odets, and Tennessee Williams.
In 2001, Jim received two Best Actor nominations for his portrayal of a character in Eugene Ionesco's "Rhinoceros", an allegory of Hitler's control of the Vichy Government. Additionally, he received a Best Supporting Actor nomination for his role as a fast-talking grifter in Richard Lay's American premiere of "Sweet Butterfly On An Alligator's Lip".
Jim has since starred in numerous award-winning productions, including "The Secret Under The Rose", "Nessun Dorma", "The Poker Lesson", and "Necropolis".
Currently, Jim resides in NYC, where he maintains a balance between his film and stage work. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for HExTC, a multi-media company that produces original content for stage, film, TV, talk radio, and web.
