Joanna Lipari, Psy.D., a renowned clinical psychologist, was born in the vibrant city of New York, setting the stage for a life filled with creative expression and intellectual curiosity.
Following her graduation from Manhattanville College with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Lipari's passion for the arts and human behavior led her to pursue further education at the esteemed Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City, where she honed her skills under the guidance of the legendary Sanford Meisner.
Lipari's academic pursuits continued as she earned a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2004, marking a significant milestone in her journey as a mental health professional.
After completing her post-doctoral fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA),Dr. Lipari joined the faculty at both Pepperdine University and UCLA, where she has dedicated herself to teaching and mentoring the next generation of mental health professionals for several years.
