Joanne can currently be seen starring alongside Kevin Bacon in the third season of CITY ON A HILL on Showtime, as well as in an episode of HUDSON & REX on Citytv. Her extensive television credits include a notable role in the Emmy-nominated series SEVERANCE for Apple TV+, and a recurring part in GODFATHER OF HARLEM for EPIX. Joanne has also appeared in a range of TV shows, including ABC's THE RESIDENT, the mini-series THE DISAPPEARANCE, CBS's ZOO, A&E's THE RETURNED, and CBS's HOSTAGES. Notably, she held a series regular lead position on Syfy's WAREHOUSE 13 and has received two Gemini Award nominations for her performances in the mini-series DIAMONDS and PLAYING HOUSE.
In addition to her television work, Joanne has a notable feature film credit in CLOSET MONSTER, which won the best Canadian Feature at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. On stage, Joanne is set to star as "Lady Macbeth" in Commonwealth Shakespeare Company's upcoming production of MACBETH. Her past stage credits include performances in ROMEO AND JULIET, JULIUS CAESAR, MACBETH, MEASURE FOR MEASURE, SEVEN STORIES, OLEANNA, and PROOF. Additionally, she starred in the play THE FALL, which premiered at The Huntington Theatre in Boston.
Furthermore, Joanne has also ventured into writing, having been staffed on the Amazon series ABSENTIA.
