A renowned Malayalam film director, who initially pursued a degree in economics from a prestigious college located near Kottayam, was fortunate enough to have his grandfather play a pivotal role in introducing him to the world of filmmaking. After completing his education, the director decided to take a unconventional route, opting to work as an insurance salesman in Bellary. However, his passion for filmmaking soon got the better of him, and he made the bold decision to enroll at the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India (FTII),where he had the privilege of studying under the guidance of the acclaimed Bengali director, Ritwik Kumar Ghatak.
