John D. LeMay has been a working actor since 1985, following his academic pursuits in music and theatre at Illinois State University, which laid the foundation for his successful career. His early professional endeavors began with an internship in Chicago, setting the stage for his subsequent television credits, which include Parks and Recreation, E-Ring, Providence, Sisters, Eddie Dodd, Over My Dead Body, Tour of Duty, Remington Steele, The Facts of Life, and Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone.
However, it was his two-year stint as the lead character, "Ryan Dallion," in the influential television show Friday the 13th: The Series, working alongside acclaimed directors such as Atom Egoyan and David Cronenberg, that played a significant role in his subsequent starring role in the 1993 film Jason Goes to Hell.
