Biography

John, a multifaceted producer, director, actor, and writer, boasts an extensive career spanning three decades and multiple continents. He began his journey at New York's Ensemble Studio Theatre, serving as Associate Producer for the Marathon 1997, and also worked on Marathon 1996 and 1998 alongside Jamie Richards.

John's impressive resume includes producing benefits at EST, honoring esteemed individuals such as Jerry Zaks, Ted Turner, and Walter Bobbie, with notable attendees like Richard Dreyfus, Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, Lucie Arnaz, Chris Noth, Anne Meara, Mandy Patinkin, and celebrated playwrights Wendy Wasserstein, Horton Foote, Frank Gilroy, Craig Lucas, and Joyce Carol Oates.

With a strong foundation in theatre, John's experience extends to 30 years, encompassing On and Off-Broadway productions, as well as international collaborations in Europe, Africa, and North America. Notable Broadway credits include working as Associate General Manager for Jackie - An American Life, alongside Brent Peek. Off-Broadway, he was a producer of Hedwig & The Angry Inch and contributed to the development of The Great American Trailer Park Musical.

In 2005, John had the privilege of producing, writing, and directing the opening festivities for the "Center of Hope" in South Africa, hosted by His Majesty, King Goodwill Zweletini, the Mayor of Durban, the Minister of Health, and 1000 invited guests. This event aimed to serve those affected by HIV/AIDS in the township of Bhekulwandle, South Africa.

As an actor, John has taken on a range of roles, including developing the character of William Booth in the original musical Blood & Fire, alongside Eden Espinosa, for the Disney/ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop in New York City. Other notable acting credits include Sheriff Deon Gilbeau in August: Osage County at the State Theatre in Olympia, WA, King Herod in Who Do You Say I Am at CCC in Los Alamitos, CA, Jo Bouillon in Billy Wilsons' Josephine The Musical in Amsterdam, Holland, Bruno in Christmas on Mars in Hollywood, CA, Tumnus in The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe in San Francisco, CA, Fleance in Macbeth with the Sherwood Shakespeare Festival, and Zacchaeus in the One Man Musical at the National Theatre of Uganda, Africa.

John is a member of SAG-AFTRA and has appeared in numerous films, including The Maggie Moore(s),Infraction, All Those Small Things, A Great Place To Work, Door to Door, Delivery, and 5th Grade Boss. He has also made television appearances on "Better Call Saul" (AMC),"The Resident" (FOX),"GRIMM" (NBC),and "Homicide Hunter" (Investigation Discovery),as well as various commercials and industrials.

As a voice-over artist and narrator, John has worked on various projects. He is currently developing a limited series for television and owns/operates TAPE IT ABQ, a professional taping studio for actors, where he serves as a teacher and coach in Albuquerque, NM, his current home.
