John's fascination with acting and filmmaking began when he first laid hands on his father's camcorder in the early 1980s, growing up in Central Ohio. As a young boy, he was captivated by the art of creating monster movies and slasher flicks, and instead of writing school papers or working on class projects, he would often lead his team in producing something on VHS tape.
John's passion for the performing arts only intensified as he grew older, and he went on to study Electronic Media at the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music in the late 1990s. However, rather than pursuing a career in the entertainment industry, he decided to take a different path and entered the world of sales, where he has remained ever since.
Tragedy struck in 2016 when John's father suddenly passed away, leaving him with a profound sense of loss and a renewed appreciation for life. Inspired by the words spoken at his father's funeral, "Live Every Day like It's Your Last...Live Life to the Fullest," John decided to take a leap of faith and pursue his long-dormant passion for acting.
In 2017, John attended an open casting call and received a call from a casting director offering him a role in his first feature film on what would have been his father's 71st birthday. Seeing this as a sign, John enrolled in acting classes and dedicated every spare moment to honing his craft, rekindling his passion for the performing arts.
John is deeply devoted to his family and values the importance of working with others who share his passion for their work.
