Biography

John Giwa-Amu is a pioneering producer, distribution, and financing expert who co-founded the dynamic production company Red and Black Films in collaboration with the talented writer/director Caradog James. He has played a pivotal role in guiding the development of the company's inaugural feature film, Little White Lies, which has garnered a notable two BAFTA Cymru Awards and a prestigious BIFA nomination. This outstanding beginning was followed by the highly acclaimed sci-fi cult hit The Machine, which premiered at the esteemed Tribeca Film Festival and went on to win an impressive three BAFTA Cymru Awards, including the coveted Best Picture award, a BIFA award, and the Screen Award for UK distribution.
