Biography

John Klicka, a rising star in the independent film scene, is the youngest of seven homeschooled children, where he was encouraged to take center stage from a young age. With a flair for the dramatic, John has been performing on stage and television alongside his family since he was just four years old.

As the ham of the family, John's passion for acting was nurtured from a tender age, and it was only natural that he would make his film debut in HERO in the fall of 2009. Tragically, John's father, Christopher J. Klicka, a prominent homeschooling legal advocate and pioneer, took ill with multiple sclerosis, a battle he fought for 15 long years. Unfortunately, John's dad passed away shortly after filming for HERO concluded, leaving John to navigate his grief while pursuing his dream of acting.

Despite the challenges he faced, John's love for acting only grew stronger, and he went on to play the lead role of Young Kurt in For the Glory, a film based on the inspiring true story of US Olympian Kurt Kuykendall. Scheduled for release in 2011, For the Glory marked another significant milestone in John's burgeoning acting career.
