John-Roger, DSS, a renowned spiritual leader, has been guiding people on a path of self-discovery and spiritual growth for over five decades. He has traveled extensively, leading groups of up to 150 people on Peace Awareness Trainings throughout the Middle East, as well as visiting numerous countries in Asia, Africa, South America, North America, Australia, and Europe.
In 1971, John-Roger founded the non-denominational Church of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness, which has become a hub for his teachings on Soul Transcendence, a philosophy that emphasizes the importance of recognizing one's true nature as a soul and as one with God.
John-Roger has also established various organizations and institutions dedicated to promoting spiritual growth and awareness. These include Network Of Wisdoms (NOW) Productions, which has recorded over 6,000 of his seminars and produces his nationally broadcast cable TV show, That Which Is. He has also appeared on numerous radio and television shows, including "Larry King Live."
In addition to his work in the spiritual community, John-Roger has had a significant impact on the educational arena. He is the founder, first president, and now chancellor of the University of Santa Monica (USM),which offers master's degrees in Spiritual Psychology. He is also the founder and chancellor of Peace Theological Seminary & College of Philosophy (PTS),which offers master and doctorate degrees in Spiritual Science.
John-Roger has written over 50 books, including four bestsellers, including a #1 New York Times bestseller. His most recent books include The Rest of Your Life, Serving & Giving, and Living the Spiritual Principles of Health and Well-Being, as well as Fulfilling Your Spiritual Promise and many others. He has also founded Mandeville Press, an independent publishing house that publishes books offering a contemporary look at ancient wisdom.
In addition to his work as an author and educator, John-Roger has also produced over a dozen films with his friend and actor, Jsu Garcia. Their films have been screened in over 25 countries and have been officially selected for various film festivals.
