Johnny Walter, the son of an investigative-news producer and a biology professor, embarked on his acting journey at the tender age of 13 while growing up in Miami, Florida. He attended the prestigious New World School of the Arts, a performing arts high school, where he honed his craft in a variety of theatrical productions, including "The Government Inspector", "The Crucible", and "The Government Inspector", where he played the tragically flawed John Proctor. After graduating in 2000, Johnny applied and was accepted into The Goodman Theatre School for his Bachelor of Fine Arts. During his time there, he built a diverse resume, featuring roles in "Romeo and Juliet", "Brighton Beach Memoirs", and "Three Sisters".
Following his time at The Goodman Theatre School, Johnny continued to perform and study in various workshops within the Chicago theatre community, working with esteemed companies such as the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre and the Steppenwolf Theatre Company. After dedicating over a decade to his craft, Johnny decided to take a sabbatical from performing to travel and gain life experience. He relocated to Austin, Texas, to be closer to his family and gained a wide range of skills, including becoming a welder, a teacher, a fishmonger, a clinical assistant, and a carpenter. Johnny believed that to truly understand people, one must experience what they do and who they are.
After a 3-4 year hiatus from his art, Johnny returned to his passion in 2010. That same year, he made his film debut in the horror flick "Boneboys" (2012). Since then, Johnny's film and television career has flourished, with numerous projects under his belt.
