Born and bred in New York, Jon has spent his life cultivating his skills as an actor and comedian, initially honing his craft in the back of the classroom and soon discovering that entertaining people was his true calling. As a trained actor and seasoned comic, Jon has enjoyed a diverse and well-rounded career in television and film, effortlessly transitioning between dramatic and comedic roles.
Jon's extensive television credits include his recurring role as Art Garten on AMC's critically acclaimed drama Mad Men, as well as receiving widespread acclaim for his portrayal of Manfro, the bookie, on TNT's highly praised drama Men of a Certain Age. Additionally, Jon had a notable nine-year run playing Gianni, the wisecracking friend of the main character, on the popular sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond.
Jon's television appearances also include numerous guest star roles on various shows, such as Made for Love, I'm Dying Up Here, Law and Order, Nypd Blue, Seinfeld, and The King of Queens. Furthermore, Jon's film credits include the role of Petey in Somewhere in Queens, a film written and directed by Ray Romano, as well as Welcome to Mooseport, Just My Luck, Spy Hard, and HBO's Crime of the Century.
When not acting or appearing on television, Jon continues to tour with Ray Romano, performing stand-up comedy and entertaining audiences across the country. In addition to his acting and comedic pursuits, Jon is also an accomplished musician, inspired to play the guitar after watching the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show as a young boy.
