Joni Bovill, a talented Mississippi native, defied the odds of her humble beginnings as the daughter of a poor sharecropper and a maid to become the first in her family to earn a college degree. Her impressive career has spanned multiple mediums, including television and film.
As a talented actress, Joni is perhaps best known for her recurring role as Ida in Amazon's hit series Bosch, where she appeared in all seven seasons. Her impressive resume also includes notable roles in Better Call Saul, Grey's Anatomy, NCIS LA, Snowfall, All Rise, Shameless, How to Get Away with Murder, Animal Kingdom, Sony Pictures' Concussion, and Netflix's Come Sunday.
In addition to her work in front of the camera, Joni has also lent her voice to various national commercials, including the iconic Fruit of the Loom "Flawless" spot, which remains her favorite.
