Joosje Duk, a remarkable individual, embarked on a remarkable journey, commencing on October 1, 1994, in The Hague, The Netherlands. At the tender age of fifteen, Joosje's remarkable talent was recognized, as she was selected to play the lead role of Mirjam in the popular children's television series Snuf the Dog, directed by the accomplished Steven de Jong. This notable project, Snuf the Dog, culminated in the series and its companion film, Snuf the Dog and the Spooky Castle, receiving a prestigious Double Platina Award, a testament to its immense popularity, surpassing 200,000 DVD sales in The Netherlands.

As Joosje entered the latter stages of her teenage years, she embarked on a courageous journey, opting to leave her familiar surroundings behind and relocate to the vibrant city of New York in the year 2012. This pivotal decision was driven by her unwavering passion for the performing arts, as she sought to further her skills in acting, screenwriting, and journalism at the prestigious Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University. In addition to her cinematic endeavors, Joosje also co-authored and brought to life a captivating one-woman show, Waiting for What?, which made its debut at the esteemed Off-Broadway Festival United Solo in New York, widely regarded as the world's largest and most prestigious solo festival.

Joosje's multifaceted talents extend far beyond her impressive body of work in acting and writing, as she has also ventured into the realm of filmmaking, showcasing her remarkable versatility as a creative force.
