Jörg Haider

Jörg Haider, a prominent Austrian politician, was born on January 26, 1950. Throughout his illustrious career, he held the esteemed position of Governor of Carinthia on two separate occasions. Furthermore, he served as the long-time leader of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ),a political party that played a significant role in Austrian politics. Later, he went on to become the Chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Austria (Bündnis Zukunft Österreich, BZÖ),a breakaway party that emerged from the FPÖ.
