José Rafael Cordero, a renowned American professional wrestler of Puerto Rican heritage, is currently active on the independent circuit under the moniker Lince Dorado, which translates to Golden Lynx in Spanish. His impressive wrestling career has spanned over a decade, with a notable stint in WWE, where he was a valued member of the Lucha House Party.
Cordero's journey in the world of professional wrestling began in 2007, as he worked for various independent promotions in Puerto Rico and the United States. One of his most notable achievements during this period was winning the 2008 King of Trios tournament in Chikara, a prestigious event featuring trios of wrestlers. He shared this accomplishment with El Pantera and Incognito, his partners in the tournament.
In 2016, WWE took notice of Cordero's skills and invited him to participate in the Cruiserweight Classic, a prestigious tournament featuring some of the world's top cruiserweight wrestlers. Although he was eliminated in the second round, WWE was impressed enough to offer him a contract. This marked the beginning of his time in WWE, where he would go on to form a stable called Lucha House Party alongside Kalisto and Gran Metalik.
As part of Lucha House Party, Cordero made a lasting impact on the WWE, entertaining fans with his high-flying moves and energetic performances. However, in 2023, he re-joined WWE in a new capacity, taking on the role of a trainer at the WWE Performance Center, where he will undoubtedly pass on his knowledge and expertise to the next generation of wrestlers.
