Mr. Águila is a renowned luchador, best known for his work in Mexican wrestling promotions CMLL and AAA. He is also recognized for his performances under the ring names Essa Ríos in the WWF and Papí Chulo in TNA.
Early Career
Mr. Águila began his career in CMLL, where he gained popularity as a member of the Los Invasores group. He co-led the group alongside Héctor Garza and formed alliances with other wrestlers, including Psicosis II and Rayo de Jalisco, Jr.
Tag Team Championship
Mr. Águila and Héctor Garza won the CMLL World Tag Team Championship on July 16, 2010, defeating La Sombra and Volador, Jr. This achievement granted Mr. Águila a spot in the 2010 Universal Championship tournament, where he was eliminated in the first round by La Máscara.
