Joseph Barmettler is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker with a diverse range of experience in feature films, documentaries, and television series. As a producer, he has worked on several notable projects, including the MGM summer beach movie "Beach Kings" (also known as "Green Flash"),which starred David Charvet, Torrey Devitto, and Kristin Cavallari.
In addition to his work on "Beach Kings", Joseph also produced the quirky indie feature film "Alien Secrets", which was distributed by Warner Home Entertainment. His experience in television production includes serving asising Superv Writer, Producer, and Director for the action-comedy series "L.A. Heat", which starred Steven Williams, Wolf Larsen, and Sugar Ray Leonard.
Joseph's screenwriting credits include the HBO World premiere of "Rage", as well as the Universal Home Video DVD releases of the science fiction film "Silencers" and the urban action-packed "Riot". His other film credits include "Timelock" and the dark action comedy "Pure Danger".
As a producer, Joseph has worked on a variety of television series, including the Daytime Emmy Award-winning series "Adoption Stories" for Discovery Health Channel, "TLC's "A Personal Story", "Making It Home: Greensburg", and Bio Channel's outlaw biker show "One Percenters".
