Josh Melrod is a renowned film editor, celebrated for his meticulous work on a diverse range of projects, including the acclaimed narrative and documentary features Skunk (2014),The Cult of JT LeRoy (2014),and Mind Over Murder (2022). His extensive portfolio also encompasses numerous television series, which have been showcased at esteemed festivals such as the Cannes Film Festival, the Sundance Film Festival, SXSW, and the Toronto International Film Festival, among many others.
Josh's projects have also received widespread recognition, being broadcast on prominent networks such as HBO, Netflix, Hulu, and PBS. His debut feature, Major Arcana (2018),garnered critical acclaim, taking home the best director prize at the 2018 Ischia Film Festival. Notably, Major Arcana was theatrically distributed by Kino Lorber and acquired by Showtime.
Prior to establishing himself in the film industry, Josh edited an award-winning literary magazine, honing his skills and developing his unique aesthetic.
