Born in the city of Middletown, Ohio, Josh embarked on a new chapter in his life by relocating to California immediately following his graduation, ultimately settling in North Hollywood where he now proudly runs his own production company, AntiCurrent Productions.
Throughout the last 15 years, Josh has had the privilege of working in a multifaceted capacity for Kevin Smith's esteemed company, Smodco, where he has accumulated a wealth of experience. During his tenure, he has had the opportunity to showcase his skills by shooting, directing, and editing three behind-the-scenes documentaries, each focusing on the making of Tusk, Jay and Silent Bob: Reboot, and Clerks III.
Currently, Kevin Smith is serving as the executive producer for Josh's upcoming documentary on the life and career of the late, great Michael Parks, titled Long Lonesome Highway.
In addition to his work in film, Josh has also had the pleasure of directing music videos and live performances for a diverse range of artists, including The Aggrolites, Tim Armstrong, Moby, The Specials, The Dickies, and Billy Bragg, among others.
Josh's impressive resume continues to grow, as he is currently at work on an upcoming comedy special featuring AJ Wilkerson, as well as several unannounced music videos.
Furthermore, his latest film, Wrong Reason, has been acquired by MVD for distribution and is set to be released on physical and digital media on August 15th.
