Joshua Ormond, an American-born actor, was born in New Jersey and has spent his entire life in the state. He is known for his striking blonde, curly hair and impressive acting abilities. Joshua began his acting career at the tender age of three, alongside his older sister Gabriella.
At the age of four, Joshua booked his first role as John in the indie film Bittersweet (2008),directed by Greg Levins. This marked the beginning of his successful career in the entertainment industry. He went on to book numerous regional and national commercials for prominent companies such as Georgia Pacific, the Chronicles of Narnia, Swiffer, Ikea, Verizon Fios, Netflix, Castrol, HP, Exxon Mobil, Trident, and many more.
As he grew older, Joshua continued to land significant roles in various projects. At the age of nine, he booked the lead role in the psychological thriller The Fields (2011),working alongside Oscar-winning actress Cloris Leachman. His performance earned him the Best Emerging Actor 2011 award at the Terror Film Festival, as well as several other festival awards.
In 2011, Joshua appeared in the TV series Royal Pains (2009),the film Robot & Frank (2012) alongside Frank Langella, and the role of Leonard in Nature Calls (2012) starring Patton Oswalt, Johnny Knoxville, Rob Riggle, the late Patrice O'Neal, and Kelly Coffield Park. The following year, he landed the fun and feisty role of Little Joey in Let's Be Cops (2014) with director Luke Greenfield for 20th Century Fox, alongside Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr.
When he's not acting, Joshua enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including basketball, baseball, golf, football, skateboarding, bike riding, roller blading, surfing, boogie boarding, soccer, snow skiing, ice skating, fishing, crabbing, motorcycle riding, marksmanship, skim boarding, cross-fit, and pretty much all outdoor sports. He is also an avid video game player.
As an Honor Roll student, Joshua works hard to balance his education with his acting career. His favorite subject is math, and he plans to continue his acting career into adulthood, eventually studying law in college. If he doesn't pursue law, he would like to become a prosecutor.
