Joy Westmore was a renowned Australian actress, whose multifaceted career spanned theatre, radio, and voice artistry. She is particularly famous for her captivating performances in various television shows, including Bellbird in 1967, The Sullivans in 1976, Cluedo in 1992, Neighbours in 1985, and Fergus McPhail in 2004.

One of Joy's most memorable and iconic roles was her portrayal of Officer Joyce Barry, later known as Pringle, in the long-running Australian prison drama soap Prisoner. She played this character for all eight seasons of the series, earning her a prestigious Penguin Award.

In addition to her acting career, Joy was a devoted wife and mother of four children. She was also a skilled public speaker and dedicated activist, using her platform to advocate for various causes.
