Biography

Octagón, a renowned Mexican luchador enmascarado, has been a prominent figure in the world of professional wrestling, particularly in Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA),since the company's inception in 1992. Throughout his illustrious career, Octagón has been recognized for his exceptional skills, earning a spot in AAA's Hall of Fame in 2011.

Notably, Octagón formed a formidable tag team with El Hijo Del Santo to take on the formidable duo of Los Gringos Locos, comprising Eddie Guerrero and Art Barr, in a thrilling double mask versus hair match. This historic encounter marked a significant milestone, being the first pay-per-view event hosted by a Mexican wrestling promotion to air in the United States.

Over the years, the Octagón gimmick has given rise to a beloved mascot, Octagoncito, as well as an "Evil clone" known as Pentagón, further solidifying his impact on the world of professional wrestling.

In 2014, Octagón bid farewell to AAA, bringing an end to his illustrious tenure with the organization.
