Judson Earney Scott, a renowned thespian, burst onto the scene on July 15, 1952, in Azuza, California. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from California State University, further honing his craft at the prestigious Actors Studio in Los Angeles.
Scott's impressive resume includes a notable achievement at the American College Theater Festival, where he took home the coveted Irene Ryan Award for Best Actor in the Western United States. This accomplishment marked the beginning of his illustrious career, which would soon see him rubbing shoulders with the likes of John Houseman's esteemed Acting Company.
As a member of The Company, Scott toured the nation for two years, bringing his considerable talents to the stage in various classical theatre productions. His impressive stage presence eventually caught the attention of Broadway producers, leading to a star-studded turn alongside the incomparable Al Pacino in Shakespeare's "Richard III" in 1979.
Scott's foray into film found him playing the pivotal role of Joachim, chief henchman and trusted confidant of the enigmatic Khan Noonien Singh, in the 1982 blockbuster "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan". This iconic performance solidified his status as a beloved figure in the science fiction community.
In addition to his impressive body of work, Scott was a founding member of the Cabaret Theatre Company in Los Angeles, California.
