Judy Cornwell is renowned for her iconic supporting role as Daisy, the endearing sister of Patricia Routledge's Hyacinth Bucket, in the immensely popular BBC sitcom Keeping Up Appearances, which premiered in 1990. Born in the vibrant city of London, Cornwell spent her formative years in England, where she attended a convent school before embarking on a new chapter in her life in Australia, where her parents, Irene McCullen Cornwell and Darcy Nigel Barry, had relocated. As the granddaughter of the renowned music-hall singer Sarah Bonner, Cornwell's early exposure to the world of entertainment sparked her passion for the stage. She began her career as a dancer and singer, performing in pantomime, vaudeville, cabaret, and musical revues, before eventually transitioning to classical stage acting.
