Prior to pursuing a career in the entertainment industry, they served in the Royal Air Force, showcasing their dedication and sense of duty.
After their time in the military, they took on a unique role as a tour guide in Switzerland, allowing them to share their love of culture and history with others. Their exceptional skills in the art of verse speaking were recognized with a 1st Prize at the Bedfordshire Music Festival in 1958, solidifying their talent and confidence.
Further honing their craft, they trained at the esteemed Bristol Old Vic School, the Method Studio in London, and the Drama Department at Nottingham University.
