Prior to pursuing a career in the entertainment industry, they served in the Royal Air Force, showcasing their dedication and sense of duty.
After their time in the military, they took on a unique role as a tour guide in Switzerland, allowing them to share their love of culture and history with others. Their exceptional skills in the art of verse speaking were recognized with a 1st Prize at the Bedfordshire Music Festival in 1958, solidifying their talent and confidence.
