On the 24th of that month, she found herself on board LANSA Flight 508, a commercial airliner, which was about to embark on a routine journey, but little did anyone know that this would become the site of one of the most harrowing, terrifying, and devastating aviation disasters in history, an event that would leave an indelible mark on her life and the lives of everyone involved.
