Julie Ann Fay, a talented individual, makes her home in Atlanta, Georgia, but her roots run deep in Louisiana, where she grew up as the proud daughter of an elementary school French teacher. Her introduction to the world of show business began at the tender age of five, when she was enchanted by a stage performance of "Peter Pan," holding up a picture of a Christmas tree with wide-eyed wonder.
For the next 11 years, Julie honed her skills and performed in numerous theatrical roles with the esteemed Lake Charles Civic Ballet Theatre. Her extensive dance background would later prove to be the catalyst for her return to the stage and ultimately, her transition to acting on both stage and screen.
Julie's journey in filmmaking began as a screenwriter, and she took the initiative to produce her first short film, "Stickie," to showcase her early work. This led to her meeting fellow screenwriter Ken Henderson and director Patrick Roddy, with whom she would go on to become a founding member of the Lake Area Film Group and Lake Area Film Scribes. Through these organizations, Julie produced many more short films.
Julie's feature film debut was in Roddy's feature film "Mercy" (2006),and she would later collaborate with him again on the movie "Good Boy" (2009). In both films, she played the role of a victim, opposite actor Gary Shannon.
Today, Julie resides and works in Atlanta, Georgia, where she continues to pursue her passion for the arts.
