Disarmingly warm, Intellectually in Charge, Relentlessly protective, I've spent the last 15 years devoted to raising three children, teaching elementary music for 12 years, and commuting to Austin for classes, auditions, and filming. During this period, I signed with my first talent agent, booked five short films, six independent films, including a Hulu film, A Teacher, six commercials, and three print ads.
Six years ago, I expanded my TV and Film career to LA, where I've worked with an outstanding representation team, booking three TV pilots, four TV shows, five short films, three music videos, eight commercials, and even lending my voice to Sony's VR game, Groundhog Day: Like Father like Son. I've also dubbed voices for feature films, commercial voiceovers, and was a finalist for Best Supporting Actress in an award-winning TV drama series, Retrograde Los Angeles. Additionally, I've appeared in Samland, a feature on Apple TV, A Teacher on Hulu, and am a SAG-AFTRA actor.
Despite my busy schedule, I make time to help local students as a tutoring specialist, offering music-enriched learning for kindergarten through 7th grade and beginner piano lessons. When I'm not on set, you can find me enjoying outdoor activities like hiking, family snow skiing adventures, and daily walks with my sweet little black Chinese pug, Elvis.
As for why I act, it's because performing is second nature to me, thanks to my upbringing in a highly trained performing music family. Whether I was singing, playing the French horn, or performing in musicals and plays, it was always expected and where I found early success. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Music from SNU, and just before graduating, I met the love of my life, R. Bruce Phillips, a performing and recording keyboard artist, attorney, and focus group consultant. We're creatives at heart who love traveling, snow skiing, amazing dining experiences, and spending time with our big kids, pugs, and grand dogs.
