Juliet Mills, an English actress of stage, screen, and television, is the sister of Hayley Mills and the daughter of Sir John Mills. She first gained recognition in films after her sister Hayley started her career. Juliet's early film roles included small parts in comedies such as Nurse on Wheels (1963) and Carry on Jack (1964),signed to a contract with Warner Brothers.
It wasn't until 1966 that Juliet Mills started to receive attention for her role opposite James Stewart and Maureen O'Hara in the western film The Rare Breed (1966). She continued to work in television in the 1970s, appearing as a recurring guest star on The Love Boat (1977),Wonder Woman (1975),and Fantasy Island (1977).
In 1970, Juliet Mills starred in the top-rated television series Nanny and the Professor (1970),co-starring Richard Long, but the series was cancelled after two seasons by ABC. She then appeared in the Italian horror film Beyond the Door (1974),playing the possessed "Jessica Barrett", but the film was pulled from theaters due to its resemblance to The Exorcist (1973).
Juliet Mills didn't receive many roles after Beyond the Door and continued to work in television throughout the 1980s. She had a small part in Waxwork II: Lost in Time (1992) and then played Juliette Lewis's friendly maid in the 1999 major motion picture The Other Sister (1999),co-starring Diane Keaton and Tom Skerritt.
In recent years, Juliet Mills has appeared in the daytime drama (soap opera) Passions (1999),playing the role of "Tabitha", the witch. She is married to actor Maxwell Caulfield.
