Julio Chavezmontes is a Mexican filmmaker of exceptional talent, boasting an impressive portfolio as a producer and screenwriter. His notable achievements include claiming the Special Jury Prize for Screenwriting at the esteemed 2018 Sundance Film Festival for his work on the thought-provoking film "Time Share" (2018).
In 2011, Chavezmontes co-founded PIANO, a production and distribution company, alongside Sebastian Hofmann. Their shared vision was to create and share innovative, challenging, and original cinematic experiences. This collaborative effort has resulted in a diverse range of feature films, including their debut production "Halley" (2012),which made its international premiere at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.
