Biography

Justin Paul was born in Princeton, New Jersey, to Illinois natives Sherwin and Sherry Lynn, who would later play a significant role in shaping his passion for the craft. At the tender age of 19, Justin's fascination with the world of acting led him to enroll in various workshops and programs, where he had the privilege of studying under some of the industry's most esteemed teachers.

Notable among these mentors were Paramount film coach Bob McAndrew, renowned acting coach Robert Easton, and the highly acclaimed Margie Haber. These illustrious instructors provided Justin with a solid foundation in the art of acting, laying the groundwork for his future success.

Justin's early foray into the industry saw him book small roles in the popular ABC drama "All My Children" and the hit HBO series "Sex In The City". However, it was his audition and subsequent selection to study with the Tony Award-winning theater legend, Frank Langella, that truly marked a turning point in his career.

Langella, known for his impressive repertoire of iconic roles, took a liking to Justin and invited him to join an elite group of twelve students for a four-hour masterclass. It was during this time that Justin deepened his understanding of the craft, and Langella's mentorship proved to be a valuable asset in his development as an actor.

The two parted ways as friends, with Langella even referring Justin to his agent. This introduction led to Justin studying under the guidance of Emmy Award-winning director and Columbia University professor, Peter Miner.

Under Miner's tutelage, Justin honed his skills and was soon invited to join the directors program at Columbia University, where he worked alongside a talented group of up-and-coming students. Although he thoroughly enjoyed this experience, Justin's opportunity to star in the day-time television drama "One Life to Live" proved too enticing to resist.

As Wes Granger, the troubled Navy SEAL vet, Justin received widespread praise for his performance, and his work soon caught the attention of filmmakers. He went on to star in the film "Dry River Road", where he played a down-and-out war vet, and the film garnered significant recognition and acclaim at the 2011 Palm Springs International Film Festival.

Throughout his career, Justin has been involved in a variety of projects, often splitting his time between New York and Los Angeles as he continues to expand his repertoire and push the boundaries of his craft.
