J.V. Martin is a renowned voice actor, celebrated for his captivating narration of documentaries and reality programs. His journey in voice-over began when a Travel Channel executive, impressed by the temporary narration track he supplied for a documentary, selected J.V. to become the actual narrator of the program.
Before venturing into documentaries, J.V. had a distinguished career in radio and television news in Los Angeles, ultimately rising to the position of director of live television newscasts. Born in Orlando, Florida, J.V. spent his formative years in Los Angeles, the son of the legendary radio newsman and talk show host, Jim Martin.
