Biography

An Egyptian film director, she earned her degree from the esteemed Higher Institute of Cinema, marking the beginning of her illustrious artistic journey.

She kick-started her career in the film industry by serving as a second assistant director on the 1993 film "131 Works," directed by the renowned Nader Galal.

This initial experience was followed by the direction of her first short film, "Six O'Clock Train," before she returned to her role as an assistant director.

She went on to work on several notable films, including "Hello America," "Watch, Peace," and "Al-Lumbi," starring the talented Mohamed Saad, as well as "How Do You Make Girls Love You."

Her directorial debut, "First Year of Nasab," was released in 2004, followed by a string of successful films, including "Malak and Kataba," "About Love and Passion," and "One Zero."

In addition to her work in feature films, she has also made a significant impact on the small screen, directing several popular television series, including the sitcom "6 Tahrir Square" in 2009, "Zat" in 2013, and "Nasa Prison" in 2014.
