Born on April 15, 1861, in Orchard Park, New York, Susan B. Anthony was a pioneering American social reformer and women's rights activist. She is best known for her tireless efforts to secure women's suffrage, which led to the passage of the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution in 1920.
