Kanyawee Songmuang, professionally known as Thanaerng, is a multifaceted Thai-Chinese actress and model hailing from Roi Et province. Born with a passion for the performing arts, she began her educational journey at Satree Suksa High School of Roi Et Province, before furthering her studies at the College of Interdisciplinary Studies at Thammasat University, where she majored in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). Prior to her academic pursuits, Thanaerng had also attended the Faculty of Fine Arts at Thammasat University's Design Pattaraporn program.
Thanaerng's foray into the entertainment industry began with her participation in the esteemed 'Miss Teen Thailand' pageant in 2012 and the 'Thailand Super Model' competition in 2013. Her impressive performance in the latter earned her a spot in the popular television series "Hormones: The Next Gen", where she finished in the Top 6. This breakthrough led to her starring role in the sequel "Hormones 2" in 2014.
Subsequently, Thanaerng signed with Nadao Bangkok and went on to appear in several notable television series, including "ThirTEEN Terrors" in 2014, "Hormones" in 2015, "Senior Secret Love: My Lil Boy" in 2016, "Project S: Shoot! I Love You" in 2017, and "Kiss Me Again" in 2018. In addition to her television work, Thanaerng also made her big-screen debut in the 2018 film "Pretend".
