Karen J. Dalton, whose birth name was Jean Karen Cariker, was a truly exceptional American musician, celebrated far and wide for her mesmerizing performances as a folk blues singer, gifted guitarist, and accomplished banjo player. Her remarkable career was deeply embedded in the thriving early 1960s Greenwich Village folk music scene, where she had the privilege of collaborating with an impressive array of incredibly talented artists, including the legendary Fred Neil, the remarkably gifted Tim Hardin, the eclectic Holy Modal Rounders, and the iconic Bob Dylan, among many others.
