Karen Leigh Hopkins, a writer with a passion for storytelling, embarked on a journey to Los Angeles from her hometown of Sandusky, Ohio, with the intention of pursuing a career in film acting. However, after being cut from notable projects such as Breakfast Club and Three Amigos, she turned to writing as a way to express herself creatively.
With a keen eye for storytelling, Hopkins has produced a range of notable works, including Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael, Stepmom, Because I Said So, and Miss Meadows, which she also directed. Her most recent endeavors include writing and producing for the Apple series Little Voice, as well as the feature film Love is Love is Love, alongside esteemed director Eleanor Coppola.
