Karine Vanasse is a celebrated Canadian actress, renowned for her captivating performances in both English and French languages. She has garnered widespread recognition for her outstanding portrayals in various television series and films.
Vanasse's television credits include the critically acclaimed CTV series Cardinal, where she played the role of Detective Lise Delorme, earning her a 2019 Canadian Screen Award for Best Lead Actress. Her other notable television roles include ABC's Revenge, Pan Am, and Blue Moon, for which she received two prix Gemeaux nominations and one prix Artis nomination. She has also appeared in Quebecois television shows such as 30 Vies, 2 frères, Killer Wave, October 1970, and the TV movie Marie-Antoinette.
