Karzan Kader's life took a dramatic turn at the tender age of nine, when his family was forced to flee their homeland of Kurdistan amidst the turmoil of the Iraq War in 1990. The traumatic experience led to his family's resettlement in Sweden, where Kader and his siblings would spend their formative years growing up.
As he matured, Kader's passion for the arts only intensified, leading him to enroll in the prestigious Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts (SADA) in 2007 to pursue a degree in directing. His talent and dedication would soon pay off, as his short film "Bekas" garnered widespread acclaim, including a Student Oscar, and was later developed into a feature-length film of the same name. Today, Karzan Kader resides in Stockholm, where he continues to make a name for himself in the film industry.
