Kasey was born on July 20, 1987, in the small town of Wharton, Texas, but spent most of his childhood in Victoria, Texas. His early start in the entertainment industry came with the Texas Country radio station 98.3 KORA in College Station, where he worked alongside Chris Austin and Adam Drake as a top on-air personality.
Kasey's academic background in Media Production at the University of Houston played a significant role in propelling his career, allowing him to land notable roles on screen and behind the camera. He has directed some of the world's top talent and has also booked roles in Hollywood blockbuster films, including "Django Unchained" directed by Quentin Tarantino and Simon West's "Wildcard", which stars Jason Statham.
In addition to his acting and producing credits, Kasey made his debut as a screenwriter with his film "My Bully", which premiered to a sold-out theater in Houston, Texas. This success led him to found his own media production company, The PlayList, which focuses on photography and video production for the arts and entertainment industry.
Throughout his decade-long career, Kasey has acted, directed, and produced numerous commercials, music videos, digital shorts, and full-length feature films. When not working, you can catch Kasey at a live concert with his wife, Kelsey, or at a sporting event with his two sons, Hayden Jaxon, and Leonardo Rose.
Kasey's impressive resume also includes starring alongside Daniel Baldwin in the Sci-Fi Thriller "Sound of Trains", directed by Jordan Bradley and Travis Champagne. The film was picked up by the Shorts HD Network, a cable and satellite channel offered through Direct TV, and was broadcast in the United States and European markets. The film received great success throughout the film festival circuit.
