Kassia Meador, a multifaceted individual with a passion for longboard surfing and lifestyle photography, was born in 1982 in the picturesque town of Westlake Village, California.
As a teenager, Kassia discovered her love for surfing at the age of fourteen, and her natural talent soon propelled her to enter her first surf contest, the Roxy Wahine Classic in Costa Rica, where she impressively won at the tender age of fifteen.
This victory not only earned her a sponsorship deal with Roxy but also catapulted her to becoming the face of the Roxy swimwear empire, a position she held with distinction.
While recovering from a broken foot in 2002, Kassia stumbled upon photography and, to her surprise, found an innate aptitude for it. Her photographs have since been showcased in esteemed locations worldwide, including Japan, Europe, New York, and Los Angeles.
In addition to her photography endeavors, Kassia expanded her horizons by developing her own line of Roxy wetsuits in 2010, solidifying her reputation as a pioneer in the world of longboarding.
As a testament to her multifaceted talents, Kassia ranked at #2 on the 2011 ASP Women's Longboard Tour, a remarkable achievement that further cemented her status as a surfing icon.
